Luke Unabomber

A Manchester native, Luke Unabomber co-founded the Electric Chair club night back in the mid 90s – a sweaty basement below the pavements of the city, pumping out a brew of house, disco, hip-hop, broken beat, Latin, R&B, techno and northern sulphuric soul. The success of this unapologetic and liberal society saw the birth of Luke’s next project, Homoelectric, bringing all he created to a bigger audience. After two decades of hosting some of the most respected and wild parties in the country, Homoelectric switched gears and hosted its own festival, Homobloc in 2019. The sold out event at Manchester’s Victoria Warehouse with the likes of The Black Madonna, Roisin Murphy, Seth Troxler, Todd Terje and more, invited thousands to experience what was once only felt beneath the streets of the rainy city.
